Be aware of that high voltage you don´t saw it but I shorted the sparkgap every time before adjusted!That driver is a nice driver uses the old known ne555 at fixed 50% duty cycle and variable frequency that I set to 16khz.Without output Resistor the spark is horrible loud and pulls a lot of current! Thats why I used a resistor that 125M rated and made for 50kv.
